Now I don’t know about you, but I’ve been getting by the Spirit lately a reverent awe and healthy fear of God, this stemming from what I sense is the Father’s desire to have holy vessels into which He can pour Himself in fullness. With regard to these vessels, the Tabernacle of David comes to mind, this OT tent of worship representing the means through which the Father will gather to Himself the “remnant of Edom” and the “residue of men” in the coming age.
I’m not going to say much about the Tabernacle of David here, but if you read the OT story about king David bringing the Ark of the Covenant into a tent in Zion (the highest place in Jerusalem), you should be able to see that this represents the glory and the power and the presence of God being brought INTO a remnant of the Lord’s church at the end of the Pentecostal age. You should also be able to see that this did not happen until there was a reverent awe and a great fear of God put into God’s people first, this represented to us in the account of Uzzah touching the ark and of him dying for that act.
Beloved, if you feel called to be a part of the remnant of people who are willing to sacrifice their lives to the extent that God can do anything that He wants with them, then this is a time now for a holy consecration and a dedication to Kingdom purposes like you may not have ever subjected yourself to before.
The fix is in for this mess that we see in the world today, beloved. This “fix” is what Obadiah called “deliverers sent from Zion,” and is what the prophet Amos and a NT disciple named James called “the restored Tabernacle of David.” Whatever you want to call it, this is definitely a description of sons brought into the glory of God in a way that this glory has never been seen in and on the Lord’s church.
What an awesome day this is…
