Beloved, when Jesus appeared physically 2,000 years ago, very few people were ready for THE PATH which he demonstrated with his life. This is why Jesus had only a small group of disciples with whom he directly described THE INNER PATH of Christ and then with “the multitudes” he taught in parables. Yet today, the situation has changed dramatically, in that THE CHURCH AGE IS NOW OVER and a much more enlightened time OF BEING is upon us.
It seems that there is now many more people on Earth who are ready for a path of DIRECT DISCIPLESHIP under Christ, and since almost none of the mainstream Christian churches today are teaching about this Way, the truth about it is coming forth from A VOICE CRYING IN THE WILDERNESS which is explaining to people that they need to GO BEYOND the outer word of religion and establish for themselves a direct, inner, personal relationship WITH CHRIST and with the Spirit of Truth AS THEIR PERSONAL TEACHER.
This Way of the Spirit was lost by most Christians as early as the end of the first century A.D., but IT IS being made clear once again. Though even the Christian religion has obscured the true Way of the Christ for almost 2,000 years now, that will not prevent this Way from being known now and wholeheartedly FOLLOWED by more people than ever.
My attention is being drawn at the moment to Zarah and Pharez, to the the twin children of Tamar (remember them?). Remember how at the time of the birthing of these twins one of the boys was coming forth (Zarah stuck out his hand) BUT THEN THERE WAS A BREACH and the other came forth first? Well, the birthing of these twins represents the CHURCH OF THE WAY that was coming forth back in the Pentecostal outpouring in the book of Acts, and THE BREACH which happened and from which CHRISTIANITY (AS WE KNOW IT) CAME FORTH. “Pharez,” by the way, means – “BREACH.” You want to know what “Zarah” means? “Zarah”means – “TO ARISE, TO ASCEND, TO COME UP AND/OR SHINE.” This, of course, bespeaks of the INNER WAY OF ASCENSION. Go figure.
“And it came to pass in the time of her travail, that, behold, twins were in her womb. And it came to pass, when she travailed, that the one put out his hand: and the midwife took and bound upon his hand a scarlet thread, saying, ‘This came out first.’ And it came to pass, as he drew back his hand, that, behold, his brother came out: and she said, ‘How hast thou broken forth? – this breach be upon thee’: therefore his name was called Pharez. And afterward came out his brother, that had the scarlet thread upon his hand: and his name was called Zarah.” (Genesis 38:27-30)
