The Lord’s Army

I’m going to cut right to the chase here…

In Revelation chapter 7 and chapter 14 the “144,000” are mentioned. I believe that this number represents those who will have ATTAINED to the First Resurrection, and that these chapters describe TWO different groups of “144,000,” one earthly, one heavenly.

Now, I’m not going to comment on this much here, but I will say that in 1 Chronicles 27 we find that king David (as a type of Christ) had an army which totaled “288,000” men (2×144,000), this representing what I believe to be TWO GROUPS of overcomers who shall rule and reign with Christ for 1000 years, but from different vantage points (or dimensions).

“Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but these shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him FOR A THOUSAND YEARS.”

Might it be, beloved, that those who shall reign with Christ for “1000 years” on earth shall be mortal human beings (not immortals, as some people might want to think) who are empowered by the Spirit without measure, this being “The Tabernacle of David” that I have shared on recently? And, might it be, that those reigning WITH these saints but from the spirit realm (“on Mount Zion”) are also not yet “perfected bodily” because it is the Lord’s desire TO PERFECT HIS BODY ALL-TOGETHER at the end of the 1000 year Kingdom Age? I think that this is more than likely so.

I have much that I could say about this, beloved, but I feel that I should just let you meditate on what I have already shared, and encourage you to SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES to see if this is so. If you do that, you might just find that some rather perplexing passages of Scripture are coming into a whole new light.

Bless you.
